DBQ Thanks and Week 10/20 update-APUSH

Thanks to all parents for getting involved in your child’s education by reading their essays and using the rubric to score them! I know for some it may have been an uncomfortable experience without formal training, but at least you understand what your student has to do to write a good essay!

This week we discussed the Adams presidency and have been completing an in-class reading on the Jefferson presidency. Questions correspond with this reading. Most students have been able to finish in class. On Tuesday, 10th graders took the PLAN test during our AP meeting time so they might have extra homework to finish the Jefferson reading. I have posted the reading and the questions in the AP US History sidebar to the right. This is due on Thursday. Wednesday is an early out and we will discuss culture/life in the early 1800′s. On Thursday students will take chapter 9 id quizzes. I have created a separate page for these under the AP US history sidebar in case students need the lists. Chapter 9 outline is due this Friday!
