We began studying the 3 largest monotheistic traditions last week. We began with Judaism. Students have been reading about traditions, the history, dietary laws, holy days and the Holocaust. They have presented information, debated information and asked good questions so far! We will end our study of Judaism next week and begin our study of Islam. We will wrap up with the Arab-Israeli conflict–start researching some information about this! Then we will continue with the study of Christianity and end with an extensive essay exam concerning all three traditions–probably the week of the 20th.
