WHAP! AP World

Welcome to WHAP or AP World History! I’m very excited to have you in class this fall! I would like you to read the WHAP introduction and the WHAP Exam information located under this heading. You must know/memorize/learn the 5 periods and the 9 habits of mind. You will be asked to restate these at the beginning of the school year and throughout.

This course awards 4 DMACC credits per semester. It is also expected for you to take the AP test in May. With this in mind, please note that this is a college-level class that fulfills College Board requirements AND DMACC requirements AND DMPS requirements–it can be challenging but also a fun way to learn about world history!
